These activities sometimes take place in a stone amphitheatre near the fountain of Bedarin, which preserves a traditional public washing place.

The towns of Mojácar and Garrucha with their beautiful sandy beaches are within just 20 minutes drive and the local town of Turre just 10 minutes by car. There are 5 quality golf courses in a short driving distance from Bédar and it's satelite villages of El Pinar, Tres Amigos, Serena, Bedarin and many more.

Bédar is just over an hours drive from Almeria international airport and 2 to 2.5 hour drive to the airports of Murcia and Alicante. Mojácar has excellent motorway access and in the next few years will be served by the AVE high speed train from Madrid.
